normal and explainable and have been reviewed and addressed with June's budget transfers. KRS68.030 dictates that the final settlement made by the county treasurer shall be approved by the fiscal court. So this is why the last treasury's report and settlement of any fiscal year must be approved and appears under consideration for approval as opposed to the normal placement under presentation. Presented to the court is the regular monthly summary for June 2026 and the treasur settlement for fiscal year 2026. I'm pleased to report the county ended the fiscal year maintaining its strong financial position with little debt. The total outstanding principal balance for all debt is 4.36 million set to be reduced by 1.16 million in fiscal year 2627. As we've discussed, the ending balance for the general fund typically appears high in June of any given year. However, in the last court meeting, $7.9 million of transfers from the general fund were approved that will manifest in the July 26 report. All funds operated for fiscal year 2526 with expected ranges outside of anomalies that I have already reviewed with court members or items that were addressed by the court. The general fund had an operating surplus of

9.19 million. 2.16 million of that figure is unspent prior year project rollovers. 2.55 million is unspent insurance proceeds related to the March 25 hail event. 568,000 is from the right-ofaway acquisition by the state of Fairview Drive and the remaining 5.28 million is largely the result of efficiency initiatives by departments that materialized as savings throughout the year and the intentional control and limitation of spending by the court throughout fiscal year 2526 to strengthen its financial position in preparation of large upcoming capital projects. I can answer any questions you may have. — Thank you, Mr. Johnson. Any questions from the court? Any questions from the public? Hearing none. All those in favor signify by saying I. I. — D. residential and commercial collections in a transfer station in War County, Indiana. Solid Waste Management has negotiated the presented agreement, which walks their contracted rates to our schedule rates over the next two years. This affords them time to renegotiate their existing collection and operational contracts. Their disposal agreement is not unlike those we hold with International Paper Company and RWVR where increases are planned and set over the contract term. This is another security services agreement through the Davis County Sheriff's Office whereby all expenses incurred to service the agreement is recouped by the fees. This approval is a ratification of the judge executive signatures since these are often times sensitive and as I note the sheriff maintains full authority of all such contracts with his office both in initiation and execution.
