verse 12. blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord the people he chose for his inheritance but we pray Almighty father will want to praise and thank you Lord for government to order the Affairs of mankind we thank you as well for those elected to serve and willing to give of the time Talent resources and opportunities that they might work for the good of all people well yesterday that you would send your blessings on these who seek to serve through the leadership and government Grantham Lord the wisdom of Solomon for the complex issues grant them the courage of King David for the unpopular and difficult decisions give each of them a heart for this work that puts the common good over personal gain we ask your special blessings on those who gather here your protection on their marriages families homes and livelihoods that each might give generously of their time talent and efforts we ask it as well for the people of this

County in the midst of an ongoing pandemic especially in this time of political divisiveness grant them the ability and the willingness to arrive at consensus such that even those disagreeing will not undermine but support the decisions of the majority we pray this for our nation the Commonwealth of Kentucky Grayson County and our people men women and children the godliness fairness Justice and compassion might prevail help us make our community and world a better place because of our service and we humbly ask for success in these matters not for our own Glory but yours and we pray this now in the name of the one who taught us that the way to real leadership is through service not the way to True honor is through sacrifice amen amen say the Pledge I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands one nation

aye next we have we need to accept the Grayson County Clerk's audit for a year ending 12 31 of 21. there's not any questions uh promoting a motion is that Brian two seconds by Ben all in favor all right next we have uh uh let's see let's get the bumps right there for a second go to uh we need to approve to open a new bank account at Wilson and Muir for opioid settlement proceeds which if you all recall back a few months ago Jeremy had told us about the settlement that was coming down and they recommended that we open up another checking account because there's only certain things that that can be spent on and basically Jeremy you want to yeah that's it I've acted as agent for the uh the settlement Communications and finally we've got a couple distributions coming to us I think once for 30 000 ones for twelve thousand we kind of didn't know how we're going to get that money and so now they're going to send in I think maybe quarterly and so we just have a to have a bank account for that to be

transferred to and so I worked with Angel on that we just get that established so I can give them that information yeah there are certain things that they can be spent on as well and I think Angel what did they classify that a few weeks ago it was for a treatment and maybe education about drugs but it was just limited but I can't recall of them but yeah they haven't sent out all the guidelines I don't think just yet so we can get more clarification on that but we will be getting some uh funds for that so we need to set up this checking account so not any questions entertain a motion motion by Darren second by Brenda all in favor aye any opposed all right uh let's see next thing we've got so I've got the road department guys let's go with visitors we've got a lot of visitors here is everybody together most of us from the same neighborhood who's your spokesperson I pretty good I guess what's your name Marshall Frank Marshall Frank Frank yes Marshall Frankie where do you live Mr Frank we're
