motion by brian second second by darren all in favor next we have approved jailor's budget transfers as presented motion by neil second second but brian all in favor rural secondary road program he's got kevin on here but brad or whoever wants to take care of it [Music] judge himself my name is bo warren i'm the branch manager over our western half of the district for construction and maintenance thank you for letting us come and present our program today and uh with us is brad bob he's our acting chief district engineer for the district and james beecham he's our transportation engineer supervisor that's over pretty much the maintenance function in breckenridge racing and meat keys and mark stone as you all know him these are our foreign all right just a little background our real secondary program is funded by 22.2 percent of the motor fuels tax those funds are allocated to all 120 counties based on a five-point formula

and that formula is one-fifth based equally among all counties one fist based on the rural population one-fifth based on the road miles and two fists based on the land area and once that money is allocated to accounting it is not transferable to any other game i passed out a copy of our our current rs plan for this current fiscal or this upcoming fiscal year to all the magistrates and judge here just to go over it our total real secondary miles are 133.852 miles for grayson county our first priority for our rs funds is the routine maintenance and traffic for our rs routes in grayson county that cost is estimated at six hundred forty thousand two hundred dollars our second priority is the county judge executive expense that's set by statute at three thousand eight hundred seventy five dollars our third priority is an asphalt resurfacing project on kentucky 2766 and that's going to go from kentucky 185

and 9.0 to kentucky 187 at mile 0.6.32 for a total distance of 6.323 miles an estimated cost of 626 128 our fourth priority is a culvert replacement project on kentucky 736 approximately from 9.12.66 to 12.7 and estimated cost of that is going to be 150 000 all that totaled up gives us an estimated program of one million four hundred and twenty thousand two hundred three dollars for the year [Music] i'd like to go over some of our existing projects that we have going on in the county just to kind of keep you all informed we've got u.s 62 that's currently being constructed from kentucky 3155 a bypass to beehive curve that project is currently experiencing some delays just because of contractors

financial difficulties so we're not 100 sure when that project is going to get completed it's a working day project we're still continuing to count working days but we have been informed that the contractors potentially bankrupt looking to be bought out so it might end up being delayed from who was it that had that that's charles louise construction uh other project we've got is a reception project i'm kentucky 54 from the ohio county line to kentucky 79. it's got an anticipated completion date of 6 30 22. we have our remaining rs program that we presented last year that still has yet to be started but still has a 6 30 22 completion date that was kentucky 7 479 from trapman lane to 1214 kentucky 720 from u.s 62 to 1168 and kentucky 1168 from 224 to kentucky 720 and i don't think any of that work has been started yet the best of the violence i think 720 1168 yeah another project we have is kentucky 79

from just north of 736 for about a half a mile it's a guardrail project that has an august 1st completion date and the shawwell road bridge that's county road bridge that we replaced it's it's pretty much complete all except for i think paving the approaches is about all they have left because of my knowledge it's got a completion date on september 1st the project that we have that has already been led is it's a uh 10 asphalt overlay of the wk parkway in a couple of segments from the 91.1 to the 95.03 and the 116.9 to the hardin county line trying to keep those sections that are in pretty decent shape in real good shape with a thin asphalt overlay and then kentucky 187 is a research project from phelps johnson road us-62 that's got a november 15th completion date some of the projects that we have upcoming that haven't been let yet there's a potentially a respectancy

project i'm taking 88 from kentucky 889 to the rock creek bridge and we've got a couple of highway safety improvement projects on kentucky 259 in the northern part of the county and in the southern part of the county the northern part of the county is supposed to go from outpoint 16.39 to to 21.459 which is the county line and the southern portion is supposed to go from the edison county line to kentucky 226. um i'm not sure you know when the lighting on those is anticipated we're about having a lot of utility issues with those just getting utilities moved out of the way we've had them ready otherwise for a while but mainly communication companies just dragging their feet getting everything moved so we're hoping to let them over the winter start working on them next year both of those projects but it kind of depended on utilities and that progress so 226 saint anthony churchill right yeah what uh what what's what's that project what are you doing on that one it's primarily uh lengthening some cold which i had some shoulder yeah that's okay yeah nothing's nothing real significant

we're not getting any right away it's kind of just pushing out what we've got a little bit making what's there a little bit better yeah it's a small pot of money we had but it was a that's how we applied it to the project so yeah [Music] thank you [Music] what else we have the bypass extension that's supposed to go from 259 around to 54 to 54. yes 54 station it's anticipated to be lit sometime this fall early winter based on what we're looking at and then we've got a wk parkway rehab that's probably it's been two projects been put into one that goes from the 111.25 to the 116.949 and that's some base repairs and reconstruction of the wk through there and then the last thing i've got on my list is the continuation of the us62 from the beehive curve on 224 it's
