e e e I'm I'm Pastor Tom Wilson at New Horizon Church we're a new church in Grayson County a little over a year and a half

old and it's a pleasure to be able to come and pray with you guys I was supposed to be here last month and I forgot it's somewhere afternoon because TR and I talked about it that day at lunchtime but I don't know what happened but I apologize that's let's pray gracious God uh we lift up our hearts with Thanksgiving uh I want to I want to bless those that serve our County I ask for your headge of protection to be around them around their families and I pray that you would Prosper them in every way Lord I I lift up these around the table I ask that you would fill them with your spirit with wisdom understanding and discernment that they would be uh endowed with power to accomplish all all that is on their plate to accomplish and Lord I ask that you bless our County with all the resources necessary to get all these things done I ask this prayer in the mighty name of Jesus amen amen thank you thank youed Ali to United States America Republic for which it stands one

nation under God indivisible with liberty and justice for all call meeting the order first thing on the agenda is appr minutes from the previous meeting motion motion by Ben second by Darren all in favor next we have approve the payment of the bills motion by Neil second by Jason all in favor next we have approved Treasures budget transfers as presented motion motion by Darren second by Brenda all in favor I next thing on the agenda is to approve the treasur monthly settl motion motion by Brenda second by Darren all in favor and next we have uh need to approve the jailer's payment of the bills motions motion by Jason second by Ben all in favor all right next we need to approve the jailer's budget transfers as presented motion by Brian second by Neil all in favor next we need to approve the sheriff's monthly settlement motion motion by Ben second by Brian all in favor and next we need to approve

Sheriff's request to sell surplus vehicles on gov deals you got a list of them Norman okay you all got them of make motion just get you need a copy of for the VIN don't you yeah we'll give you a copy on I'll see just need a motion motion by Darren second by Ben all in favor all right next we need to accept Grayson County Extension Office 2024 tax rate real property personal property motor vehicle it all stay the same yeah that one stayed the same didn't um it went let's see last year was 061 this year is 063 so it's very little differ um on the motor vehicle it was 1103 now it's 1189 and then the motor vehicle changed slightly too so there it just changed just slight yeah just about a couple tents yeah any questions on any of that if not entertain a motion to accept motion by Brian second second by Neil

all in favor next we got to accept the Grayson County Board of Education 2024 tax rate on Real Property tangible personal and motor vehicle Angel okay uh this year the real property is 56.9 last year was 58.4 so it went down just a little bit and then the personal property this year it's 58.6 last year was 58.4 so just barely come up and then the motor vehicle was 40 is now 58.6 but last year was 46.3 so that one what happened with that one I don't know I they say no but they they must took compensating rate on the uh on the real property yeah so any questions any discussion on not we'll entertain a motion to accept that motion motion by Darren second by Neil all in favor let's see where we at now now uh accept the Grayson County Board education 2025 motor vehicle and watercraft property tax rate you got

that one it's just the 40 the 4 46.3 it's just a different form yeah it's the 46.3 all right need a motion motion by Ben second by Jason all in favor all right next we have except Grayson County's 224 tax rate Angel uh this year it would be 6.6 last year was 6.7 and then the tangible and personal will stay the same 7.9 so we ended up taking the compensating rate so just so y all know if anybody ask I mean we haven't didn't raise the tax or anything on anything so motion motion by Darren second by Brenda all in favor uh next we've got accept Grayson County's 2025 motor vehicle and watercraft property tax rate it's the 7.9 it's a different form it's the it's the same so 7.9 motion motion by Ben second by Jason all in favor all right next we've got approve order upon petition to place question on the ballot for Falls or rough district sales at distilleries Charlotte you want you want to tell them what the deal

is um so basically what this is this is um if this organization or person um gets a petition together they to file this petition through the clerk's office and then they have to obtain um 25% of the people that voted in the general election that number of signatures to sign for this petition um they turn those signatures into me I had to check to make sure their registered voters in that District um there's certain things that meet that criteria they have to have their name their address the year of birth the date they signed in order for this petition to be approved um both of these questions did obtain enough signatures to be El to be placed on the ballot so any questions or discussion so um we just get the order and then it will go on the November ballot and then Falls a rough preing only be the on that will vote for those two questions just one Precinct just follows this is the next question that's on that and she's talking about there's
