over Norman yeah yeah yeah call me up we didn't we didn't the preacher did well I said he why you back I'll get your tag before we leave well if you don't mind let's stand for prayer and um appreciate you guys allowing us to uh to do this appreciate all you do and so let's pray God we thank you for the uh privilege and the honor and the opportunity to begin this meeting with with the time to pray and uh father we are nothing without you and uh we thank you for your goodness for your grace for your love for us for your love for our community for your love for our County and for our cities a place in which we live and place to raise a family we're thankful father for those that serve for those around this table that will make decisions tonight and thank you for them and their willingness to to serve in the way they do and to work so we pray your blessings upon this time together upon this meeting May all the decisions that we make and all the conversations that

are had uh give praise honor and glory to you and to your name most of all father we thank you tonight for Jesus and for who he is we pray it in his name amen amen I pledge aliance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands one nation under God indivisible with liy and justice for all thank do it all right call the meeting to order and the first thing on the agenda is approve the minutes from the previous meeting motion motion motion by Brenda and second by Darren all in favor next we've got approve payment of bills motion motion by Brian second by Neil all in favor all right next we've got approve of treasurer's budget transfers is presented motion motion by who was it Darren second by Ben all in favor next we've got approve treasurer's

monthly settlement make a motion motion by by Neil second by Jason all in favor next we've got to approve Treasurer quarterly settlement motion motion by Ben second by Darren all in favor next we got approve jer's payment of bills motion motion by Brian second by Neil all in favor next we've got approve jailers budget transfers as presented motion motion by Darren second by Ben all in favor all right then we need to accept the Grayson County Board of Health minutes from 9:17 of 24 motion by Brenda second by Jason all in favor and then we need to approve the sheriff's monthly settlement motion motion by Neil second by Brenda all in favor then we need to approve the sheriff's third quarter budget motion motion by Brian second by Darren all in favor and then we've got copies of the sheriff's 2024 2025 record applications

that are available for the viewing at the Grayson County Judge executive's office at 1:30 East Market Street Norman you want to yeah just briefly we uh September of every year we have a record board meeting and with when we once a year we'll have uh accept any new record services that want to apply and submit their applications um the ordinance that we passed we make sure they're compliance with that um the rates on the applications that they submit with us they've got to have license of course licensed drivers be be able to um operate the record and then also they got to have certain amount of insurance and things like that so I've attached those applications it kind of compares the rates that they charge we don't certainly we or the court doesn't uh control the rates that they charge but we just like make sure that everybody's within the same ballp park when we do that if anybody has any questions I'll be more than happy to answer any for we don't have any new uh record from last year no we had there is another Record Service in Grayson County but they're not on our rotating list yet and they did not submit an application in September so they'll have to wait until next year to do that any questions or

discussion no no not we just need a motion to go ahead and approve that make a motion motion by Dar second by Jason all in favor next we need to approve incentive payment motion motion by Darren second second by Brian all in favor and then we have approved petitions to accept water Side Drive into the county road maintenance system Jeremy you got anything on that yeah I just reviewed the U real property the residences and the they need 55% of the signatur on that road and they they got it I reviewed the signatures and so I assume that the county U road department has approved I think they were already had approved them for those spe uh specifications so I think they're ready to be approved yeah it meets all the specifications that's lined out in the how we have to adopt the roads now and they had to pave that thing and actually jar being here it's sort of strange that he'd be here and that goes to the water plant and it's uh they've done a pretty good job on it didn't they does yeah so it goes all the way to Grayson County water plant but there's a lot of houses in

between uh what that road you turn off of what's that you turn off a Concord point on the water side and it's a pretty good little ways out there and all the residents pitched in along with the water district because they own so many lots and they had it ditched and paved and it's all in good shape looks good we just need to make a motion to accept that into the county road maintenance system I'm making a motion motion by Darren second by Ben all in favor next we have a Clos session to discuss potential litigation uh if you want to you want to do that last uh it won't take long but we can wait to the end well cuz I I mean we that's about all we've got we've got additional bills but I figured i' let Casey go and then that way he ain't got to say it while we're back here talking so all right evening judge members of the Fiscal Court I'm here today on behalf of the Twin Lake Skate Park project to share our progress and reaffirm our commitment to bringing a world class skate park to Grayson County we've been working tirelessly on this project and we're getting closer every day first I'd like to take a moment to

thank the Fiscal Court Grayson County tourism and the detention center for um allowing us and helping us out with our Rock the Park event we're happy to report that we had a net profit of close to $14,000 from that fundraiser it was a great success and we appreciate the support of the community and the opportunity to use such a beautiful space we've had great feedback from the attendees about how n the valley the paths and the new um trails and stairwell are looking now I wanted to come here today to let you all know a little more about the construction process for a skape park as it might be a little different from other County funded projects we've already formed a strong Committee of dedicated individuals working daily to make this dream a reality next we need to secure a location I know that judge Henderson and I discussed the possibility of land between the library and ow with rural Health but nothing's been confirmed yet we're hopeful we can finalize that soon in the meantime we'll continue our fundraising efforts and have a set a preliminary budget this number could fluctuate based on several factors but it gives us a solid goal to work towards we're now at the stage where we need to select the professional skate park designer and the skate park specialty construction company I'm excited to report that we've received
