women that are gathered here to conduct the business of this county father we thank you lord that we live in a country where you allow us to elect officials and father we thank you lord that as they meet today that god that you might have divine direction in their life and father is they lord talk as they meet the agenda as they go over what needs to happen in this county and this county government we'd ask father that you would give them divine wisdom and more that your holy spirit might just minister in a unique way to each and every one and father lord that there be no division i want no confusion but father there would be unity and father harmony and god threw it all that you might be glorified and magnified we thank you lord that you allow us to live in a country where we can have these kind of meetings we ask your blessings upon these folks gathered here today and we'll thank you now in jesus name amen the united amen of america and to the republic for which it stands one nation under god

no i've i guess to be under old business but new business uh we just remind everybody that uh tax bills will go out probably on the 29th they should receive them within the second or third of november um if for some reason they get them before the first we cannot accept any tax payments until november the first so um and that's and if you don't get your tax bill in the first four or five days of november just call the office and we'll make sure that you get a copy of it okay can i have you all get that man all right jason any new business no no no okay no sir dang melser bro nothing no no business i have one thing uh on to um as you all recall there was an issue with the city of canyonville and their water system and we discussed that briefly before about possibly pledging some money to them for the harp of funds to try to take care of that i think they have about 800 customers on

it on that system and the grayson county water district is actually taking that system over from caneyville uh city of kennyville and they had asked if we would be willing to help and of course i said yes because we cannot let 800 people in the city limits of caneyville and beyond build out reliable drinking water so i need to approve to pay the city of caneyville 450 000 out of the arc of funds for their water system rehabilitation project i like that motion accept that motion from darren and accept it from damon and all in fact any opposed all right next i have uh one thing to approve the higher gordon mudd back part time gordon retired probably four months ago maybe and gordon was our greater operator and unfortunately jeff sanders had recently retired and jeff was our other greater operator and

some of you all that's been on equipment before knows that a grader is extremely difficult to get the handle of to try to operate so gordon's going to come back for a period of time to try to help you know get some of these guys acclimated to it some of the new guys that we've got so i would like to get a motion to hire him back part-time i don't know how long but just to bring him back on part-time for a period of time to try to help out with the greater issue second motion by tommy and second by brian all in favor any opposed okay all right next uh new business halloween there's been a lot of people ask me about halloween i just want to they're not having the safe spot apparently over at is clarkson having theirs no i don't think clarkson's not so who's canceled sam it's safe spot in litchfield and in clarkson's safe spot the the park the treats on the trail they cancel yeah okay okay
