B [Music] out well I was going to tell you guys how much I love Grayson County and appreciate you guys but brother chesse asked me to read a poem he wrote okay Christmas card for you guys I've read it three times

so there are towns with lots of people and some with very few then there's the town we live in with folks like each of you a group of special leaders dedicated to do what's right our Fiscal Court is number one they dribe with all their might we daily see their Caring Heart I know God shows the way how grateful to have you guide us we thank you again today just want to say a thank you to Judge Kevin and all the rest we trust you with a special job we know you do your best God bless you with wisdom and may you know it's true we are so very thankful for every one of you Merry Christmas for Mr Association we appreciate that yeah he he I'll leave this for the minute yeah he always does good ones so yeah I don't how he doesn't yeah let's pray yeah gracious God we thank you and praise you for your kindness your mercy and your grace all of which you pour so lavishly into our lives for you indeed are a good God we thank you Lord for our County we thank you for our city we thank you for those

favor and then we need to approve was that the amended budget did I do the amended budget now we need to approve the clerk's 2025 budget motion motion by Darren second second by Neil all in favor and then we need to approve the clerk's annual order setting maximum amounts for deputies and salaries motion motion by Ben second by Brenda all in favor then the next thing on the agenda we have to approve the incentive payment motion by Neil second by Ben all in favor and then we have the first reading of the Third Amendment to the Alcohol Beverage Control Ordinance to incorporate the November 5th 2024 election results uh concerning the Falls of District distilleries and private clubs Aon yes so uh this amendment simply integrates the results of the November 5th 2024 election which allows the sale of the alcohol at distilleries and Falls of rough and alcohol by the drink at private clubs in FSU yes any questions about it it's the

one that was voted on back in the you know in the election so motion motion by Darren to accept it second by Brenda all in favor all right and then we have the uh first reading of the solar energy system installation requirements ordinance this is the first reading of an ordinance establishing lure requirements for solar energy systems in Grayson County this ordinance is identical in nature to Christian counties and is adapted from a model ordinance than suggested by C in summary addresses the following it sets rules regulations and lure requirements for the sighting Construction insallation enlargement operation maintenance transfer and decom decomposition of intermediate and large scale solar energy systems it does not apply to small cell small scale systems which are less than 2500 square ft or Integrated Systems or rooftop systems Integrated Systems involve solar panel panels or aspects built into a home or building rooftop systems are similar such that the solar panels are on the roof specifically for the intermediate and

large scale solar energy systems it it requires that the facility must be set back at least 2,000 ft from any property line or RightWay or roadway and it must include a perimeter fence with screening in a buffer line of evergreen trees no closer than 1500 or I'm sorry 15 ft to the property line any discussion about it I think this is what Koo has recommended from Christian County I think they there's this has been sort of a topic of discussion with County surrounding in the state so I think this is what Koo suggested so what's the state requirement on the setback on or do they even have one Aron do you know that I that's a good question we'll research it I don't know if there's a specific State requirement I think it's county by county um but we'll get an answer to your question I I had thought that 1,000 ft I thought May I'm not a h to nothing I mean I just thought you know it's like I said earlier we got 100 AC field mhm you take a 4,000 ft all the way around you eliminate does anybody know what it I mean you all know it is I don't I mean you know more about it than I do I don't
