The court reviewed progress on the county's broadband/fiber expansion, a partnership between NCTC and Warren RECC, with service being built out starting in the southern part of the county and expected to reach hookups by late July or August, with full coverage targeted by late 2022. Officials discussed using CARES funds to fill in 'dark areas' not currently covered by the buildout, and noted multiple electric providers (Farmers, Nolin, Meade, Warren RECC, KU) complicate pole-fee negotiations.

weekend really complement the square and uh on everything that's been done and it's not completely done yet and i know it's it's been it's charlotte's been up there she'll be the first to tell you it's been quite a uh quite challenging for the ones that's been working up there in the building how would you say the least and uh so but it's it's sort of winding down we still have some stuff to do pva office it still likes uh some some things inside it uh the men's bathroom downstairs looks amazing amazing awesome i mean he done a great job on it and then they'll start the female restroom on the other side so we had to wait until after freedom fest to get it done and uh because we had so many people inside that building and uh during the freedom festival so uh but it looks really good and i mean i know jason said thank you but we thank jason for the help that he helped us to get that done so it's all a team effort here that's one thing that i
