Thank you for every opportunity we have to come to you. Thank you that this council still allows this and we are honored and privileged to know you.

We know God that there's a lot of things that confront our future. We thank you for our county. We thank you for our city. We are asking God that guidance would be in the hands of this council to make proper decisions to instruct us to keep us to where we ought to be. We ask you to touch the lives of each one that's here tonight. We we're just thankful for everything that you do for us. Every [music] day with you is a wonderful day. So we decided to go ahead and put someone on and that's Baron Clemens and he's passed all the required requirements out of Frankfurt. Um, so I talked to all every magistrate individually beforehand and u you know we've been looking for someone to fill this new

position for the opioid abatement funds uh that that we've called the county addiction reduction uh [snorts] services for cars. uh and we have been trying to recruit for someone for that and uh we think that we found someone uh her name is Emily Gibson and she's here there and um I spoke with the opioid kind of committee uh that are sitting over here as well and so I would ask for a vote on whether or not they recommend uh to the other voting parties for her appointment to that position. — I recommend it. — Yep. — All right. Um and I'm just asking if we can uh approve to compensate them in the future when they come come over and give us a hand. They volunteer for a lot of our events, spend a lot of time helping us, and it's just been free for them. You know, we haven't done anything for them. So, I was just looking to see if we could uh approve to get some sort of compensation to pay them in the future. Right now, it's me me and I think Blake went to a fire and Deei. Uh but, you know, some some of these bigger events, I I pull in some volunteers. So, I was just looking to maybe pay them uh just for the little time that they spend here, make it worth their while to come help us. They they do a good job when they're when they're here, and I appreciate their help. So, — any discussion?
