sure let's pray our father and God above we thank you for the day of life that you've given us we pray that we might uh use each and every moment that you give us here on this Earth to glorify you in all that we say and all that we do we thank you for this this body of Believers here tonight that welcome you into their presence and welcome your wisdom and pray for your wisdom to be upon them we pray that all the decisions made Might uh glorify you and be pleasing to you we pray for all those in our community that uh you might keep them safe during this uh crazy weather that we're having and uh we just pray that you use us to to reach out to those that are in need uh whatever that might be so that they might be safe father we glorify you above all others may we always put you number one in our life in Jesus name amen thank you thank you I pledge aliance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands one nation under God

indivisible with liberty and justice for all all right call the meeting to order Mo next thing we need is to approve the minutes from the previous meeting motion motion by Darren second by Brenda all in favor next we need to approve the payment of the bills motion by Neil and second by Jason all in favor all right next we have to approve the treasurer's budget transfers as presented motion motion by Ben second second by Darren all in favor next we have to approve the treasurer's monthly settlement motion second motion by Darren second by Brenda all in favor next we need to approve the jer's payment of his bills motion by Ben second by Brian all in favor then we need to approve the jailer's budget transfers as presented make motion motion by Neil second by Jason all in favor and next we need to approve the clerk's statement of revenues expenditures and excess fees for the

year ending in December the 31st 2024 any questions if not entertain a motion motion motion by Darren second by Ben all in favor next we need to approve the 911 Grant Proclamation and that's some U what what is it exactly she was doing with that Lenny supposed to be here yeah with some handouts for it so if you want to wait a few minutes I think she is coming yeah we'll we'll give you all those she's doing some different stuff with the she two grants that she wants to apply for so we've got to do a proclamation for that to allow her to move forward with the grant but basically it's it's replacing some existing uh communication equipment inside the office there it's just updating and upgrading to a newer version um or one of them there's an upfront cost for both of them that is reimbursed 100% but then one of them replaces something that we're already using I'll let her give more detail about it um but it's got a monthly fee for a service fee on it and I think it's

actually just a few dollars higher than what we're currently paying but we're getting more equipment out of it so it's actually an update to the cad of what they do whenever someone calls in and say somebody's not breathing or something like that it actually goes in a little bit more depth for the 911 operator to pass along the information to the uh person on the other end of the phone can we go ahead can we go ahead and approve yeah we can go ahead and approve it it's just a proclamation we just it's just a I'll make a motion for motion by Darren and second by Jason all in favor all right next we need to approve the sheriff's monthly settlement motion motion by Ben second by Neil all in favor next we need to approve incentive payments motion motion by Darren second second by Brian all in favor and then we've got a petition to for the discontinuance of it last 680 ft of Lawrence Hayes Road and I got with Jeremy he's not here he had to go to a conference he said he's in a conference I think in Frankfurt or Lexington or

somewhere so um we just need to make a motion to go ahead and uh uh go ahead with this and Darren knows a little bit about it I think so yeah it's it's that's that's switched over to your your District Neil but this is just a road that's just basically a dead end back there and a guy bought bought the person back at the end of it bought all the property back there and he wanted to discontinue us maintaining the very end of it and uh so we just need to basically do what we've done before and get two observers to go out there and take a look at the road and go through the process and then we'll vote next meeting to to go ahead and proceed with it so just need a motion to go ahead and we usually get Nick C and uh clay sometimes who clay Leon yeah Clay that's it it was Clay so if you don't care write that down clay and uh and Nick Crawford to be cuz we did use Dustin Bernett and then he he works on the road department now so uh we need those two to go be observers for you know with Steve Brer to do that so just

a motion to go ahead and do that motion by Darren second by Neil all in favor okay next we need uh approved resolution regarding the use of marijuana Angel View okay which they passed the law that said that if you have a medical card that that that's safe to to you so but our handbook says that no use of marijuana or any other recreational drugs so um Koo advised us to put this resolution which is already in our um admin code and person policy it's just stating that even if you have a medical card we don't allow any type of um medical marijuana use as an employee the county can't because of the liability issues because everybody that works at the road dep got their CDLs can't do that Jason can't have his en from our law enforcement and I mean wa does that go for Sheriff's Office too that's right it does so and so but like with the federal inmates I don't think they allow that right it's

not per for law enforcement yeah pretty much across the board so so that's pretty much all of our employees so I mean for liability issues it wouldn't be something that we would probably need to do I mean not you know it's not a matter of whether I agree with it or not but it's uh I mean as far as the general public goes being able to use medical marijuana want but it's just a liability issue for the C so but we just need a motion to go ahead and approve the resolution regarding that motion motion by Brian second by Ben all in [Music] favor okay other new business I've got uh need to approve the agreement and the resolution sent To Us by the state I caught talk with commissioner Lewis uh last week maybe was week before last and they have agreed to replace Buck hor bridge I think do you all have some of that did you all you got it on the email it over half million dollars so then we'll have to go through like a bidding process too so to to get all that done but I just need to get a motion to approve the agreement and
