that we can once again come together to do the business of the county on behalf of the citizens of grayson county we have many things to be thankful for but most of all we thank you for our health we pray that you are with those that have been by and you'd still be affected by cobalt we pray especially for for you to be those that have lost loved ones that you comfort them as only you can pray that as we make decisions tonight that we do it in a way that's pleasing in your sight that you continue to bless them in jesus name we pray amen all right thank you jason we'll go ahead and call the meeting to order uh first thing on the agenda is to approve the minutes from the previous meeting i need a motion and a second i'll make a motion by neil and second by brian all in favor any opposed next we have approved payment of bills need a motion in a second let's make a motion a motion by kevin

applications and uh steve and kenny have uh have been uh uh doing the interviews uh i told them it'd be probably a little bit more productive if they'd done all the interviews uh with the folks since they was going to be the ones that actually work with them so they interview quite a few people uh they've done some equipment tests to make sure some of these folks could run the equipment that we have and uh angel i think stephen kinney's probably close to you there somewhere we're here yeah they're here okay uh you've got the stage uh what have you come up with and who do you want to uh who do you want to put on okay kenny and i went through 22 applications and four of them here we've got and first one is jerry payton second is barry rhamer the third is dustin burnett and the fourth one is michael childers okay there'll be any discussion from the magistrates on

to put these four folks to work at the grayson county road department that's what they recommend it's good to me it's right it is me too i mean they was working with them yeah and guys guys that's the reason i've done it that way because i don't uh all right tommy says good to him also he just sent it i i told them it'd be better for them to do this because i don't want to hire someone that they would be comfortable working with so that's why i had them do all the interviews and do the equipment test so i entertain a motion to hire the gentleman that they had mentioned charlotte did you get all the names is it jerry payton you said yes okay yeah that was the only one okay okay yeah uh entertain a motion to hire the gentleman with the names that the road supervisor has mentioned all right motion by kevin and second by
