[Music] sherlocky would you start us off leading us in prayer on behalf of Ministerial Association and the Ministers of Grayson County we just want to express our appreciation for this opportunity to ask the Lord's blessing as we deal with the

business and government the care of our people in the Book of Psalms uh number 33: 12 we find these words blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord the people who chose for his inheritance let's pray Almighty father we praise and thank you for government that order the Affairs of mankind and we thank you as well for those elected to serve and willing to give the time Talent resources and opportunities to work for the good of our people we ask your blessings on these who serve and seek to serve through elective leadership and government grant them the wisdom of Solomon for the complex issues grant them the courage of King David for the unpopular and difficult decisions give each of them a heart for this work that puts the common good over personal gain we ask your blessing on those who gather here your protection for the marriages families homes and livelihoods that each might give

generously at the time talent and efforts we ask it as well for the people of this County in this Christmas season especially in this environment of political divisiveness grant them the ability and the willingness to arrive at consensus such that even those disagreeing will not undermine but support the decisions of the majority and we pray for our nation Commonwealth of Kentucky Grayson County and our people men women and children that godliness fairness and Justice and compassion might Prevail help us make our community and world a better place because of our service and we humbly ask for success in these Endeavors not for our Glory but for yours we pray this now in the name of the one who taught us that the real way to leadership is through service that the way to True honor is through sacrifice amen amen thank you we appreciate itge Al to the flag of the United States

favor and we also need to approve a treasurer's public official bond from 1 of 24 to 1 of 2 28 motion second motion by Darren second by Brenda all in favor all right that's all the agenda there and then the next is new business Norman you got any new business no just uh just want to make sure it was clear that um our amended budget was just line items that we had to tweak a little bit um I think we went over I don't know if it's on fuel or posted or something we just had to adjust that didn't didn't increase our we didn't go over our budget or anything like like that we stay well under our budget again for this year the maximum amount set by the deputies that's also the same as it was last year um so nothing has changed as far as that goes no um in our 2024 budget is just um we did um dis adjustments based on the 2023 budget sometimes we can't we don't always know how much fuel it's going to be so we kind of tweak that a little bit try to get it to where it needs to be so thank you Dar no Jason um I would just like to remind

everyone that um our office the motor vehicle department will be closed after next Friday December 29th until January 12th and I was in meetings today in Lexington and I think the cavis team is as hesitant as we are that the system's going to be up and going so we're we're have you all put anything in the paper mad about that have you all done a story on it yeah I've seen it yeah I'll probably do it again cuz I'm I mean if y'all don't care I mean cuz it's uh it's not only here it's going to be everywhere right yeah I me Statewide yeah but we're we're hoping on the 12th that Henderson they now he' be close to probably 16th down there today on radio I okay they did wow yeah but I mean they're not going they're not penalizing anybody right the states I mean our live go live dat is actually the 10th but that's we're going to take the 10th and the 11th to do all of our mail that we generated and to kind of work make sure the system's going kind of some hands on and I mean we're we're just hopeful that on the
