uh be with us today that's every decision we make be godly decision lord we ask that you forgive forgive us of our sins and be with our families throughout the day i also ask that you uh comfort our members of the armed forces and their families as well lord we ask that you be with those uh everyone during this pandemic comfort everybody and uh and forgive everybody their sins lord in jesus name we pray amen of the united states of america and to the republic for which it stands one nation under god indivisible with liberty and justice for all all right we'll call the meeting to order uh first thing on agenda through the minutes from the previous meeting motion by thomas second by brian all in favor any opposed next we have approved payment of bills motion by neil second by tommy all in favor next we have approved treasures budget transfers as presented

by brian second by kevin all in favor any opposed next we have approved jailor's payment of bills motion by kevin second by tommy all in favor next we have approved jailor's budget transfers as presented motion by brian second by neal all in favor next we have to accept the grayson county physical court's 630 of 20 audit any questions on that on this one well done this one construction bills yeah i don't think you've got any do you just still one for yourself oh i'm sorry uh all right let's go back to that approve uh jails construction bills which is one bill to do eighty thousand two hundred sixty one dollars and ten cents for lusk plus mechanical contractors that's for the uh the actual the courthouse up here and they're getting pretty close to them they're almost done so i actually talked to him today and it sounds like just buttoning up a few loose ends they're

done yeah so that's 80 261.10 motion to go ahead and pay that motion by tommy second second by brian all in favor any opposed next we have accept the fiscal court audit any questions on that you know it was a good audit about them without brought up what was the new bond the way that we needed to do it that was not done uh it was need to be part of the financial statements and we'd always done it in a separate schedule and they wanted it to be including the financial statement so that was the only right if we got so i looked those and there was a lot yeah there was a few items on there that nobody that actually challenged them and uh they took them off because they i mean we get told one thing one year and then we get told there's something else different the next year so uh but all in all it was very good so just just one thing that was a minor problem uh i need a motion motion by brian exactly second by kevin all in favor all right next we uh approve first

reading of grayson county fiscal courts 2020 2021 budget amendment number two any discussion on that nothing all right motion by tommy a second second by neil all in favor updates from physical court committees well they're starting to sign absolutely and stuff like that softball so all that's getting ready to kick off so you know we hope everything yeah i didn't take it somewhat uh road statement something uh construction uh let's talk to what i said told you that they talked to john about the windows we'd really like to see the windows get done by all means yeah you need to get a text i texted him this morning also did you okay and like you just said the hvac is pretty much done uh we still got some more tuck pointing to finish up on the brick and i'll make that call here today or tomorrow of course it's been the weather's been yeah february has been horrible uh any new business norma uh yes i have a couple of things uh first thing i'd like to

request that the fiscal court approve um i might i'm turning over 129 thousand 319 dollars and 28 cents an excess feast in 2020 and i'd like for the fiscal court to prove to give that uh money by our access fees back to sheriff's office to go into our uh payroll expenses for 2021. but we'll uh first of all need to just request they approve me turn over to 129 3 19 28 and 20 20 xs fees back to my office i make promotion motion to accept the 129 000 to fiscal court so i want to make that a motion first we'll go ahead and execute the notion but tommy second by kevin all in favor next i'll entertain a motion to uh let the sheriff have the excess fees back for his payroll expenses for 2021 right that motion as well motioned by tommy second second by brian all in favor any other new business normally anything else jason no no kevin no

sir daniel bryan okay one thing i've got is uh there is a order to a point for a cemetery board jeremy do you want to talk a little bit about sure basically we don't have any sitting members on our county cemetery board they're charged with the upkeep maintenance of the cemeteries i was approached by a former council member from the litchfield city council didn't contrast about basically re-establishing this board we have an ordinance that's already set we just didn't have any members which is kind of not uncommon for certain boards but he had requested that if we could appoint some members so that they could file for state funds for grants he spoke with senator meredith uh to try to get some funds to to help basically make some cemeteries look nicer that are degrading and so he worked with the historical society and we had requested that he propose a slate of candidates that were willing to volunteer uh that were associated with the historical society or had other

interests and so i've provided a slate and an order to the judge he has the power to appoint them but he must have the fiscal court's approval to take that action any questions my recommendation would be to appoint dennis ventress denny ventress kelly stevenson tommy brown and lois downes and dennis kuiper unless you all know anyone else any discussion on yes thank you to me good luck uh motion to go ahead and approve all my promotion motion by brian seconded by tommy all in favor any opposed all right very well old business yes uh i do have small business i think i've touched base with almost everybody in here i know uh when we made some changes to the ordinance that i that i approached uh um jeremy with about the fire and rescue dues i know some of you got some flight from some of the fire chiefs and some other members of the community about it being detrimental to the fire and rescue dudes that they do receive
