yeah it's about here our father heaven we thank you for this day we pray that as we're seeing snowy and bad weather that you'll be with us and protect everyone we continue to pray for those that are sick and affected by kobe and those that have lost loved ones if you'll heal them and be your will and protect them also and be with those that are suffering from those losses comfort them as only you can we pray for this nation and that we can get back to some normalcy we thank you for a little bit of a calming in this nation as the election has moved past we pray that we start moving in a direction that's pleasing on your side continue to pray for this county and protect each and every one of us in jesus name we pray amen amen to the flag of the united states of america to the republic for which it stands one nation under god

but by statute i'm allowed just to read the summary that an ordinance relating to the public safety and welfare keeping it clear right away on all county roads whereas terrorist chapter 67 authorizes the grayson county fiscal court to enact ordinances to vote public welfare krs 178.040 sets amendment right away for all county roads in the commonwealth of 15 feet from the center line of the road unless otherwise increased county ordinance krs 179.07 powers removal of all obstacles from county road right away by the county engineer when such obstacles become a hazard of traffic attorney general 84 348 in which the office of attorney general has approved this type ordinance concerning right of way enforcement further whereas grace county has a strong interest in keeping its county road safe and its right away is clear anyone like for me to read the full ordinance anyone wants full orders anyone just make sure i understand to be your weapon i wasn't talking to you thank you for asking that question toward jeremy what was the question i'm sorry uh section two

b paragraph b could you just explain that yeah of course these are basically exceptions to what we would consider a hazard in the right-of-way and so i've included these common obstacles well they're not obstacles as defined but obstacles do not include the following properly placed mailboxes necessary utility company equipment county signage further obstacles do not include fences posts or trees existing in the right way prior to the date of the passages ordinance so fences trees um existing property lines where they've marked and so forth right that's that's not what we're concerned with we're not we're not asking people to pull up their fences or pull up their post or cut down trees we're just wanting to prevent those areas from being filled in i know we've got a lot of fence lines in this county and uh we're not concerned about that and i think that most of the fences are outside this small right of way anyway but uh as long as they exist in there now

we're not gonna bother with them yeah that was what i've been questioned by and i just wanted you to read that one so it would sure i'm hoping for it i appreciate it and then you're welcome and also on that that question leads me to this this is a statute excuse me this is ordinance that we intend to force but it does take someone a citizen that must complain about it to our office and then after investigation then that person will sign a complaint against the offender before a charge is brought also the ordinance under 1b includes a 14-day grace period and a warning from a county official to the person so we're trying to be fair for just trying to make the roadways safe so that buses emergency vehicles common citizens can travel down our county roadways without having extra hazards absolutely thank you again any discussion questions from legends
