Several magistrates used their comments to reflect on Memorial Day, honor veterans and fallen service members, and encourage community engagement, including support for the nonprofit Helping Hand of Hope. Concerns were also raised about reckless driving on Peasley Boulevard in a residential area, with a warning about increased sheriff's office enforcement.
The meeting concluded with reminders about upcoming community events, including Vine Grove's new dog park and First Friday event, and the next fiscal court meeting scheduled for June 13th at 3:30 PM.

um just want to say it's good to have magistrate Clem back with us today it's going to be yeah just a quick review of the agenda we obviously we'll we'll be approving the minutes here in a moment some Department reports as usual here and some reports if we have any citizens concerns that's also on the agenda we don't really have any ordinances to address today we do have a resolution or two that may need to be pulled out of the consent agenda and so we'll we'll address that when we get to those and then then we'll have the consent agenda that we'll vote on and that will pretty much wrap it up except for comments all right so given that we'll just move on into the rest of the agenda here next on in line is the approval of Hardin County Fiscal Court May 9th

about 120 000 there we made 569 398 dollars we took a little bit of a dip in April compared to last year we collected 350 348 versus 486 thousand ninety seven dollars last year our year-to-date comparisons uh so far we have collected uh just over 4.6 million uh versus 4.8 million this time last year I anticipate then to start Rising back up as our monthly reimbursements are looking much better miles um again up quite a bit from this time last year we've traveled 400 545 miles versus 371 000 and some change last year billable versus non-billable runs um our run volume this year is up about 355 runs we've made 14 867 runs so far this fiscal year of those 11 859 were billable and three thousand and

eight of those were non-billable runs by Incorporated cities uh E-Town leads with 3263 Radcliffe right behind is second with 1270 and then Vine Grove City comes in the rest of the Incorporated areas are in there runs by unincorporated for the calendar year this year Central Hardin with 358 ronnieville with 183 and Kentucky 86 area with 119 uh the other areas are included in that graph some other activity that I don't normally report on but last chord I spoke to you about our critical initiative team and our peer support group since our meeting since I since that presentation they have had 16 one-on-one sessions with different members with different concerns whether personal professional they've had one suicide intervention and then they've held one critical incident stress debriefing which is just a significant action that has happened and this group gets together and talks to everybody that was involved so they've been busy also

Albus our therapy dog has an Instagram page so if you could follow him at Albus the medic dog on Instagram there's some exciting stuff coming from him here in the next couple weeks we've been busy with some community outreach as well excuse me we've been holding teddy bear clinics and some of the head starts in in local schools and this is an opportunity for us to come into the classroom and we use teddy bears as patients and and let the kids see what it's like to get a bandage put on or get their blood pressure taken or their lungs listen to so we've done several of those we did one for Radcliffe head start March 9th we did EMS standby for the Strongman Competition that was held March 25th out at the fairgrounds and then we also provided EMS stand standby in West Point for the Fort Duffield bike race we did that the 25th and 26th we didn't have any casualties out of that thankfully did another teddy bear Clinic the 28th and 29th for GC Burkhead teddy bear clinic for Harbin County cradle School we went to New Highland on April 4th the teddy bear clinics at Rineyville
