good afternoon welcome to the november 30th meeting of hardin county fiscal court i remind you this is voting meeting if you have cell phones please turn them off or put them on the vibrate mode we'll begin with the roll call if you would miss clam here here thompson here ronnie goodman here king here judge barry here easter here doug goodman here william mr easter will lead us an invocation mr king in the pledge if you'll please stand please join me in a word prayer dear lord we thank you for this beautiful day that you've given us in a time that we can gather and make decisions for the best of those we serve may we be found faithful today of what we're doing also i thank you lord for all the blessings that we've received and there are a lot of concerns around this table and prayer requests and those in the audience i just lift those up to you be with us now guide and direct us as we go about this agenda today it's the name of jesus christ i pray

amen amen would you please join me in the pledge i pledge allegiance to the flag of the united states of america and to the republic for which it stands one nation under god indivisible with liberty and justice for all under informational items there were two items included in your packet one is the voting meeting schedule for the next calendar year starting in january and that will also be posted on the county's website and their sheriff's audit was included in your packet as well uh from the first 2020 to december 31st uh 2020 so ms donnelly you could just the minutes that the sheriff saw that report was received and we'll move to item number three with department elected office reports first up is mark peterson with ems good afternoon

good afternoon today i bring forward the october 2021 activity report for hardin county ems we'll start off with our collection comparison october 2021 uh versus october 21 22. um last year we were at about 325 000 this year we're at 552 000 which is a pretty significant increase from this time last year year-to-date collections versus fiscal year 2021 and 21-22 last year was 1.3 million we're at just shot just over 2 million currently as far as october we've had another good month this month as well balance of collection accounts uh 2021 we had 4.2 million in collections 21 22 we've got about 6.6 million in collections billable versus non-billable runs fiscal year 2021 we made 5789 runs so far we've made 6348 runs

of those runs 4 261 were billable runs in 2021 and 1528 were non-billable runs in 2021 this year of those 6 000 runs 4661 were billable with 1687 being non-billable mild comparison even with the increase in runs our miles are down about eight thousand nine thousand miles fiscal year 20 21 [Music] 164 000 miles fiscal year 2122 we're at about 155 000 miles summary so far for fiscal year 2122 155 441 runs i mean miles i'm sorry 6348 runs 1687 non-billable runs 4661 billable runs total collected 2 million other items ten thousand dollars expenditures two point one which leaves us at a net at about a hundred and thirty thousand which improved from last year any questions mark what's attributed to the positive

increase um i think a couple of things we've done some changing in our in our qa process and our billing as far as getting run back to billing quicker bringing on additional personnel to read over our runs and make sure they're all ready for billing and everybody's getting back into actual office work with covet whereas before a lot of the billing folks were doing stuff from home and i think them being back in the office is helping with that as well any other questions thank you have a great christmas yep thanks we appreciate it appreciate the good work next we'll hear from mike leo e911 good afternoon afternoon i'm going to present the october uh activity report for the number one center total 911 calls answered for october 4828 created 8 120 cad reports answered 3097 administrative dispatch 1565 ems runs

dispatch 454 fire runs and handled 1188 attempt to serve prisoner transports and traffic stop type calls scrap just shows a breakdown of calls for service by ims was 60.3 percent the sheriff's office is 19.3 percent and you can see the remainder of the agencies we provide dispatch services to there in the grant runs by fire department for october but e-town elizabethtown showing 33.4 percent radcliffe at 18.7 percent and you see the remainder of the fire departments we dispatched for there also in the graph calls transfer to our law enforcement sites total cost transferred uh 13 056 436 directly place 665 to e-town place and 255 to kentucky state police that's all i have for this time any questions

mark how long does it take to do a transfer to another site a call taking a transfer no transfer or call you should send them to other agencies they're done within like 20 seconds once the dispatcher the call taker identifies the location and the type of service if it's law then it's forwarded to those all agencies within 20 seconds it's pretty quick anyone else thanks we appreciate it thank you and next we'll hear about the hardin county detention center taylor josh limbaugh good afternoon as you can see it's business as usual our lodging in comes up a little bit and the intake is uh hanging right in there uh it seems like uh just but everybody's going to jail anymore uh right now the uh plateau for the non-pimento fines and everything stuck to the coba and stuff since it's coming

back has been coming up why are you looking at me i'm just trying to inform you there bill thank you i hope that's all but as you can see the average daily population's up a little bit uh you know the main part of the jail is actually has more people now than pre-code but because of the different charges and everything but hopefully that's all staven off come the holidays and everything as you can see with billing you know state and county we're still a little bit up so that's great as you can see that's you know that's always a plus we haven't dipped down below that in almost two years now so that's pretty good you see a slew of misdemeanor charges lots of dui's red it seems like lately and stuff behind all the shootings and stuff so uh y'all be careful out there i saw four degrees up session marijuana is really up uh violation of kentucky epo dbo non-payment of fines uh theft by deception cold checks it's always pretty low mrs olden's office works pretty well to keep those folks out of jail and keeps you know getting those checks paid off and everything so that helps that a lot shopping today but that'll go up drastically in the next month or so yeah uh
