Magistrates gave community updates, including upcoming committee meetings, a transportation cabinet meeting on the Glendale bypass, the Elizabethtown car show weekend, Vine Grove's First Friday event, and a benefit concert at Fort Knox. The meeting closed with a motion to adjourn in honor of Deputy Billy Edwards.

one resolution to vote on separately and then we'll have our uh consent agenda that I'll I'll go through uh quite a few items on there and uh then we'll have our typical time of uh any comments and that will wrap it up so that's that's the agenda today um I did want just to comment before we move on um I was um able to attend uh the funeral today of uh Deputy Billy Jean Edwards and it was a double funeral and then his wife Kathy Lynn Thompson Edwards uh they're both of Elizabeth Town uh they tragically passed away on July 14th in a motorcycle accident uh Billy a US Army veteran served 24 years with the elizab toown police department and was currently working as a school resource officer for the Harden County Sheriff's Office Kathy was known for her positive outlook contagious laugh and was a chartered member of the Harden County Sunset Rotary Club and had more than 20 year career in healthc care uh just if you

didn't notice we have L the flags today to honor them along with I believe all the cities U did um also so um if we could would just like to have just a moment uh of silence for their family and I'll wrap that up with just a quick prayer father we thank you so much for taking care of us Lord during difficult times and just want to take a moment to lift up uh these families Lord and friends and others that um that new um Billy and Kathy Lord I

yes judge executive Keith tall yes motion passes all right we'll move on to our department office reports first up is a presentation from EMS and that' be Mark Peterson good evening I have the May June activity report for Hardon County EMS also some fiveyear data um here as we wrapped up the fiscal year call volume for May uh we made 1,381 total responses of those 1,336 were 911 and 45 were transfers collection comparison we collected $557,500 responses with those uh of those 1,254 were 911 and 26 were transfers and we collected $443,900 uh wrapping up the fiscal year we made
