that now this uh this is the December 10th 2024 Harden County Fiscal Court regular voting meeting uh let's begin and call this meeting to order roll call please Squire Clen here Squire Hicks here Squire Muse here Squire Pennington here Squire Saltzman here Squire Thompson here Squire Whitehead here Squire Yates here judge tall here uh next is our invocation magistrate Whitehead and Pledge of Allegiance magistrate Thompson please bow your heads with me Father God we humbly come to you today to ask for your guidance in all we do help us to be thankful and appreciative of your gifts and your love as we approach the Christmas season let us remember the reason we celebrate Lord we give thanks to the birth of your son your gift of Salvation and all the great things you have given us father the greatest gift of all this holiday season is a gift of a loving

family and friends we pray for those who have experienced loss this season for those in pain for those troubled and alone we ask that you Grace them with your light and embrace them with your strength lead them to F lead them Father God to better days Lord we ask all these things in your name amen amen please join me in the Pledge of Allegiance I pledge aliance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands one nation under God indivisible with liberty and justice for all all right um again thanks uh thanks for joining today it's good to see all of you here um the agenda is um a little bit different today we we have uh uh we'll be uh have a public hearing that will come up next and then we'll vote on

our U minutes from the last meeting uh we have several uh dep department and office reports today and uh then we will move on to some any citizens concerns or comments we then will move into a Clos session and um after coming back out out of that we will vote on a uh resolution 257 and then we'll go through the consent agenda comments after that and then adjourn okay so that's our agenda for today um at that uh let's just go ahead and go into the next item our uh public hearing and I'll turn it over uh to Jenny oldum our County attorney thank you judge um this public hearing was advertised um as required by federal statute related to the CH Charter Communication telecommunication agreement um which is going to be on the consent agenda item um item 10 C and item 10d both for Charter Communications a 10-year agreement and Comcast Communications which is also a 10year agreement extension um so this was

advertised in the news Enterprise uh and there's been a 30-day open comment period if anyone is here and would like to speak to that you can come to the podium and have your comments heard seeing no one that will close the hearing thank you all right thank you very much and judge um because these items are on the consent agenda we probably do need if any magistrates have any comment about those now would probably be the appropriate time um to discuss those just to make sure that you're given that opportunity you have any questions or comments okay okay now we'll close the hearing thank you all right thank you all right next is the approval of the Harden County Fiscal Court November 26 2024 minutes is there a motion to approve second okay did you get those all right any discussion hearing none we'll have a roll call please Squire clim yes Squire Hicks yes Square Muse yes Square Pennington yes Square Saltzman yes Square Thompson yes Square Whitehead yes Square Yates yes judge tall yes motion

passes all right next we'll move on into uh our presentations uh we'll start out with animal control is Sharon Kelly here nope she's not okay so we'll uh I know that um Mike mcnut usually would do that and he has had knee surgery and so uh I hear he is uh getting better and doing pretty well with that so we'll move on and catch that at a later date uh we'll move on then to Emergency Management Joey Scott afterno Judge members of pH Court Jo good afternoon all right I'm here to present the November progress report for Emergency Management um November 6th we had our local emergency planning committee meeting which was very successful meeting we had uh about 30 different uh a agencies represented at that meeting so that was a good informative meeting uh also on November 7th we had our public notification our Rave system meeting and that has uh been renewed and should take take place fairly soon uh November 12th we had our safety committee meeting on
