all of our citizens and father we just continue to pray for peace ac across the entire world father we just ask you now just to uh let this time serve you in the best way possible in Jesus name we pray amen Al to the flag of the United States ofer America and to the repic for which it stands one nation under God indivisible liy and justice for all uh again thanks for joining us today it's good to see all of you here uh I'll just uh take a moment and review the agenda uh next we'll approve the last uh meeting minutes uh we will um move on from there to some department or office reports uh we'll have some time for Citizens concerns or comments we have uh three ordinances to um to vote on today and then we'll have the typical consent agenda that I'll go

through and talk about what's in there and we'll vote on that and then we'll have our uh comments at the end before we adjourn so that's the agenda today so um let's go ahead and move on to the first item here and that's to approve uh the Harden County Fiscal Court uh minutes from the last meeting is there a motion to approve so moved second moved and seconded and any discussion go ahead and have a roll call then Square CL yes Square Hicks yes Square Muse yes Square Pennington yes Square Salzman yes squar Thompson yes squar Whitehead yes judge tall yes motion passes all right next we have some presentations and we'll start out with our coroner Pat Elmore evening judge members of the Court members of the audience uh tonight I'll have your uh August and September

activity reports for you uh as you can see it's been a pretty busy month of August we had 94 cases uh the accidents were seven we had motor vehicle collision a fall that resulted in the death and then we had overdoses that gives the method of overdoses we had 83 Naturals three suicides and one homicide for September we worked 108 cases really busy month so again we had motor vehicle collision fall um drowning actually had a choking and then overdoses the meth and the anti-depressant medications uh 95 Naturals three suicides and uh that number would actually change we have four pending toxicology um our autopsy cases were really up this month due to some unknown circumstance we had eight 18 autopsies compared to two this time last year um cremations we signed 378 uh transports EMS had eight transports and then the corners transported 123 um this next slide will reflect their year to date on our overdoses we're at 19 but again there's about four or five of those that are still pending

toxicology again this slide it'll show again the demographics of Elizabeth toown was still our due to population was our big and Then followed by redcliff and then out in the county was 136 um Community Partners I added this slide again this month uh because we actually started amping up we actually finished our portion of the instruction with the citizens Police Academy of leown police department we always do a portion about what corers do and so forth there and then we actually spoke with a substance abuse program with the uh link and Tra Behavioral Health U we also added the qrt you'll see a mission statement and vision there it's kind of lengthy so I won't go through that but that's available on this presentation but um to kind of bring you up to date on the quick response team our policies and procedures are complete uh we have M use ready to complete with the police and EMS and uh actually Justin just completed as and shanea both completed their National Training for that so they're actually certified it's we're going to be the only Corners office I think in the nation that has a qrt so we're really proud of that uh our QR code is now active so people can scan that and from that we've actually got a referral already so as that progresses I will give everybody an update of how that's going but so far seem like we're

making a lot of strides there so would entertain any questions anybody might have right now can I ask one um so can you explain what you're doing with the QR code because I think it's really cool so it's the QR code is actually being put on some some Publications where a person can scan that that's going to be a packet that's passed out on these referrals it's also on our website on our Facebook if a person has a person that's in need or in Jeopardy they can scan it it'll give them all the information that they need to contact so if someone needs treatment and is in crisis you can literally scan that and get contacted with your treatment it will list all the resources yes ma'am it will list the resource and again we've ordered some we've got literature we've ordered we've got it's basically going to be a packet it's in a little like a little duffel bag and it's got the QR code on it it's got the the logo and this is not just something in Harden County St this is going to be the National Standard for it but it'll be all their information and and it'll give anything that they need for resource-wise should be available with that QR code okay any other question p i I think I wanted to highlight something from our committee um with that I think once our Facebook page was launched we already had several people reach out um needing help is that correct that's correct we've actually got one referral

from the QR and we've had several I'm not going to say several but there's a few that's reached out as far as from some of the cases we worked because typical situation we work obviously deceased persons overd us but that's a lot of times in in these residents it's not just a single person has that issue so and that was the intent when we started this program was to to to try to help the ones that that have survived or are living with an addiction so um yes good question like I said that that's our intent there so okay thank you all very much thank you thank you Pat appreciate it next up is uh Sheriff John Ward good evening judge magistrates clerk county attorney and audience sheriff's office in August September has the following activity arrest 183 citations 158 issued 94 War warrants served 473 civil processes deputies answered 925 complaint calls

investigated 27 accidents 35 criminal cases and 1,858 other activities 87 school safety checks 42 violations issued and 1,9 attempts to serve and office operations 6 9 records checks were performed 94 concealed carry deadly weapon permits 1,492 Vehicles inspected in court Transportation 58 adults were transported to court two juveniles and 47 instate transports also Al I want to add that uh the tax bills will be being will be mailed out next week and should be received by November the 1st if the US mail cooperates uh the bills will be again in postcard form and they'll also be available
