Meeting of June 28, 2022

[Music] call this meeting of ohio camp fiscal court to order uh on this uh 28th day of uh june 2022 at 5 pm i'm sorry i got distracted by a feedback through one of our sound systems i want to ask jim duke at least in a prayer place of flag father in heaven we're thankful for the opportunity and the freedoms we have in this country together and we'd ask that you give us the ability to make good decisions and to lead our community in the way that you would want us to go we'd ask that you be with all those that that are sick or have lost loved ones we'd ask that you be with a family of of jeff and jonathan james two community servants that have spent a lot of their life helping the people of ohio county those two folks please be with them and guide them in happiness and put your arms around them and keep their family and and keep them strong please go with us now as we we have this

meeting help us and we may do the things the way that you would want them done in your life this would pray in jesus name amen amen and to the republic for which it stands one nation under god indivisible with liberty and justice for all before you have the minutes of the june 14th meeting you just want to go first and second just like we did yeah yeah yeah first sam secondly okay um on february say aye all right holds like sign don't you care you have the bills claimed payments and transfers before you any late night no move

motion but sam small check with jason bullock to approve the uh bills claims payments and transfers a good question we have further discussion okay and on page three oc to operate and expense gatekeeper serves 741 what is that that's the monthly service for their website that's how the websites are listed golden golden shuttles and that's listed i think that's the name of the company that oversees it uh that will be up soon we'll be reevaluating that we'll look at that contract next year how long he goes [Music] so you understand my distracted

made the changes you requested charlie on that uh maintenance yeah oh he's gonna wait till next week yeah i went ahead and got it done so i went ahead and gave it to him so you want to act on it tonight or yeah i'm back on it tonight but it is an environmental plan that we have to do every five years we have to update our plan we do it let's get a motion a second and then he can move okay so do we get a coffee [Music] [Music] you're only just doing the amazing yes tell me that number again [Music] okay good enough okay then we need a different ordinance number 20 22 20. it's only two dash one yeah the ordinance number is just the ordinance number should be what what the original one was that's correct i think 2020-5 this is only an amendment into it okay okay okay just use that number

then you want to make more from there i like reading thank you if you don't clean up your yard it's a penalty that gives us the right to penalize you a day because we give everybody a 14 day notice but what it does now is this kind of up to the court there's no teeth in it this will give us a little bit more teeth if larry counts places garbage and then i give him 14 days and not that it gives we can start billing by day absolutely do you want to do you want to yeah i like to go over it i don't want to focus on something yeah i'd like to see it too but has it changed any of the wording no the only thing it did uh the request that was made was it just added specific per day for days and uh grace period that charlie may give if he sees that they're working at it well i'm good with it if we want to go ahead i mean no i want to stay i like to take it

before but i want to make sure hey [Music] uh okay next we have uh approved the uh 2022-23 wage compensation schedule which i think all of you got one and i believe it just reflects the uh seven percent increased motion motion by sam small second second but larry morpheus is there any discussion being done on favor say aye opposed black sign uh promotion closes most of the passing uh i'm reading ahead here um i want to recognize uh jennifer doherty she's our animal control officer she's going to tell us the deal that she wants to do this is heather smith well both of you come on down the line telling this is heather smith she's opening a

new rescue it's called hairless bran's animal rescue she's been working great with us just from her home so i'm proposing that we let her use the old animal shelter as her new facility i think we had talked like a dollar a year before she pays the lights in one year for one year then we'll see how it goes and you're expecting this to take a little bit of the load off of it yes yeah she's already helping out a lot with just what little space she's got out of her house in the last little bit you've taken seven puppies and seven foot puppies eleven kittens four adult dogs from the shelter yes the motion would say to uh we'll we'll get to get rid of that but to let uh get her name here in the motion to use the old animal shelter for one year for one dollar and she'd pay all of the uh utilities and then let me make a motion i'll second for discussion i guess justin that's that's all okay legalities as far as doing that
