Meeting of October 18, 2022

thank you I want to call this meeting of the Ohio County Fiscal Court a daughter uh October the 18th 2022 uh if you would be so kind would you uh say a prayer and lead us in the place to the player yes [Music] thank you Heavenly Father we come to you today asking for your guidance wisdom and support as we begin this meeting help us engage in meaningful discussion allow us to grow closer as a group and nurture the bonds of community amen of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands one nation under God indivisible with liberty and justice for all thanks man [Music]

the first item on our agenda tonight is the approval of September the 27th uh minutes of the meeting make them a second goes from Sam's second but Joe Barnes to prove the main minutes of meeting all in favor say aye aye motion packs next item on the agenda is bills claims payments and transfers if I could have a motion in a second and then we can discuss one thing one thing uh do we need to pass for the 30th minutes to yeah yeah let that let that motion reflect it okay okay remember we had a light list yeah uh yes for the sales claims famous for transfers and the late lid if I can have a motion to the second one discuss motion a second production Sam small second by Joe Barnes uh discussion any questions about the bills and claims and on page 13 I like the bottle there's one two three four items for our father's house where's that money coming out of that's Arthur money

already have fun that's the uh yes it's uh yeah it stands out we get 80 000 for The Debt Service for the water expansion project uh which started that we'll get back uh to put into I think it goes to the old city it's what funds they'll see them okay uh then you have your mainly local uh publication and the Bluegrass Crossing Industrial Park electric expansion where's it coming from it's from rdap at our debt is in the TBA money that we I mean that the other word for it yeah it's the TBA money okay um any further destruction uh Sammy on a roll call on this or it's just a resolution but yeah they're big fans okay let's let's roll about it Barnes yes Cam yes morphew yes small yes uh the next item one agenda is ordinance for elective inspector this is the second reading this will be an ordinance but Joe Barnes

um a second reading an ordinance of for our electrical inspector we'll have roll call on it is there any discussion on that prior to this there's two of them I mean that's a commanded this no I guess it's just a woman we had a contract the first time that went along with it or bring me up today who is that Larry is that for some reason though we did add a second I thought we had two well there was Miranda I think is correct we have the contract with the electrical inspector directly which incorporates what you pass in the ordinance so okay he's Bound by the terms contractor was helping we caught a contract with him yes and then the the ordinance dictate dictates his uh fees and those okay I was thinking we added a second electrical inspector too oh no I don't know about that I just know we've contracted into one uh no further discussion uh Miranda people who wrote call would be in an ordinance Barnes yes yes morphew yes small yes okay the next item number nine on the

park Personnel who wants to uh what do I do here just [Music] about okay that's it yeah this is that the park the effective date is 10 9 22 the position is that was maintenance it's full time and the pay rate is 14.39 is that replacing a person or open position yeah we've got an open position Jason okay and I think that uh that he's already about exactly you have it on file he's already started okay what's the name uh Charles Rayleigh R.E Kelly what um then we just need a real call on it and he's already out there working now okay yes yes small yes okay Miranda who does the update on the arts program and Georgia Jim good evening everyone to give you a little rundown on the arts program first

since January the 18th of this last year we provided 1049 total resources 83 of them we sent the treatment I got beds and government treatment 81 in the housing 101 we've got an employment uh we also got 10 of them IDs and item birth certificates other resources we provided 253 uh had a couple people that was referred to us by the courts that refused uh the help from them I think they didn't understand the program itself and that was 25 people to give you a rundown on the monitoring system and uh Justin when he comes back in we can even give you additional information on this we do run the monitoring and people have to go to jail with a monitoring system there is 4207 days that 85 people have had spent in jail has not been monitored so that is 4 207 days that the county doesn't have to pay for that person to
