[Music] thank you [Music] because I came Fiscal Court to order on this ninth day of May 2023 5 p.m I'm going to ask mayor Jeff Fuquay the lead us in a prayer and play some flag our heavenly father we thank thee to this day we will be thankful for the blessings that we had to live in this country we pray that you continue to bless us in those things Heavenly Father we prayed you be with them Ohio County government deny it as they make decisions on matters that affect thousands of people and then you'll be with them they'll look to thee for guidance and direction Heavenly Father we pray to give us our sins thank you pray in Jesus name amen pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands one nation

feather thing to talk to us about yes as uh kind of bring you all up to date I think you are aware that obviously we all will always have a problem with narcotics in our community and just happened today as a national uh fentanyl awareness day we're starting to uh we're starting to slowly see that particular drug come in our community uh that I know of we've had a one overdose that is accounted for in fentanyl we're trying to every day to cartel that situation but every day is a basil because obviously when you know when we take somebody off the tree someone always takes their spot so just kind of you know just let that you and the community know as well that uh fiddles involved in more than uh more uh involved more dance with Americans under the age of 50 years old it's deleting calls more than heart disease cancer homicides all together so just want to give you a little bit of information because it obviously is bringing out a word to y'all that we're starting to see this problem now and uh like I said if you have any questions I'd be more than happy to answer those as far as what we're doing uh obviously like I said it's a it's it's a job every day uh we did uh we busted somebody and they uh we're starting to see people manufacture meth like they used to back in the day with
