put your fingers [Music] okay thanks [Music] all right let me get my wits about my hair you're good okay well for those of you who don't know me I'm Martha Leach in the county PDA I'm up here requesting money for our triennial flight with Eagleview and pictometry um this is you know this is something that I feel like our office just has to have uh it was very very important for our office a few things that we do with this imagery is we find new structures year by year we can come in and we can I can compare a flight from a couple years ago to our flight now we pick up new uh new buildings new structures all kinds of different things we can put on the tax row something else this does gives quality maps to the public

another thing that it does is you know there's there's certain things with our flight that we have now um that is not the quality that we're going to get with this new contract that we have it was a uh most of the flight was on a four inch pixel and a nine inch pixel I've got low Davis here he can kind of explain more about that if you guys want to know but basically what we're doing is we're just going to get a much better flight for basically the same money um we haven't had a flight we haven't had a flight since March of 21 and we're definitely due one in our office we are not the PBA office is not the only office that uses this I want to thank everybody that came to support me tonight I know the best is in the clerk's office they use this quite often they use it it keeps her keeps her voter row correct they can come in look at different houses see where they're at make sure they have them in the right District make sure that they have everything correct they need the economic development that's one that I didn't realize how much it did affect them you know the County's growing we're

getting a lot of you know business that wants to be here and these Maps help them they don't want to look at imagery from years ago they want to know what's there right now um they're looking at different build sites they want to know the terrain of the site how close you know the proximity Is to another infrastructure we're sending out lots and lots of maps for that purpose Charlie with Emergency Management I know they use this daily in their office New addresses respondent emergency situations during the tornado if you all remember these Maps we relied on them um you know several different entities were using these maps to find houses that that weren't there anymore actually and a good thing about pitometry and it's within that they uh correct me if I'm wrong but for free of charge if something happens tornado you know any kind of catastrophe like that y'all can Fly for Free yeah we get a look at the affected area and then we'll mobilize the planes and send them back in back in cover the area they've been covered based on the path of the toilet tornado that's what happened over these

after the December 10 tornado two days later they contacted us and they flew it and we could see the path and went in the county to the other end County and that really helped us out with the FEMA but so get the money back in there quicker uh something else as far as uh the fire departments uh Wildland fires uh something else Charlie could speak a little bit more on better than I but let's say there's a fire you know the fire that's occurred they can look at our Maps see you roads that are there whether it be New Roads old rows and they can kind of get a point of entry and where they can stop this fire potentially down the road if it keeps progressing uh Adam in the sheriff's department and it's not just our Sheriff's Department it's ksb uh they use this pretty regularly uh whether it be to you know scope out a property that they are trying to get a warrant on or something else is I found this out today um if they don't know of a structure on that property and there's a potential Hazard they can't get a warrant to go in that property and they would need you know this map helps them see that so they know what they're getting themselves into um I'll try to keep this quick because I know we've all got a meeting to go to tonight uh but the county has always
