Meeting of August 9, 2022

[Music] on this 9th day of august 2022 a little after 5 p.m i'm going to ask sam small to lead us in a prayer and pledge some flag bow your heads please most gracious heavenly father lord we come to you tonight lord we just ask that you watch over this meeting yes that you would just help us make decisions that are pleasing to you lord jesus guide us and direct us and in everything we do lord we just ask that you be with all those that are in need and undergird and strengthen them be with those who are sick and in nursing homes jesus i just pray these things in your holy name amen amen i pledge allegiance to the flag of the united states of america and to the republic for which it stands one nation under god indivisible with liberty and

to pity him but he did get a little ridiculous three thousand dollars he did get two quotes and that was the cheapest one he did get two quotes uh logan sham he got two clothes and that one was the two one of them was fairly large and he come out here yes okay one of the really large stuff i think there was more than one too there's three but one of them was really large [Music] does the one still have a big section of the tree still left on it no so we finally got that i couldn't remember that i think bo wright went and cut it down first i'm kidding i'm kidding nick roland and jason gary take care of it for us [Music] other questions on the bills you think now um close like sign bill's claims are paid i'd like to make a motion to [Music] accept the financial report a second motion by sam small second but joe box yeah just to acknowledge the

receipt of the clerk's july 22nd 2022 financial report any any questions or discussion big night i'll first say i post like sign get the proof [Music] ordinance 20 2023-2 budget amendment uh to uh bring in the cdbg money [Music] so focus on larry kam secretary morpheus any discussion and that's just the grand venue yeah since it's ordinance [Music] yes johnson yeah yes yes yes okay uh we had a commissary report from the jail i don't see anybody from the jail here to present that well they brought it over in a binder okay who has it it's in with the auditor's stuff okay um what kind of what does it mean they want us to accept his request acknowledge that he's turned it in his acknowledge

he uh any discussion being none unfair to say aye all right like sign motion carries as you know the governor's discretionary fund the governor awarded us 400 thousand dollars to extend the old liberty church road uh you need to authorize me to sign an moa to take your money come back most of the joe bonds back here segment sam small i'm sorry larry barfield oh late that's the moa and the op and the uh agreement uh the transportation cabinet that was proposed right here yes uh that's the moa voice will be fine i'll first say all uh pose like son that's done is that money flowing through the floor yeah i don't guess i can add it to that amendment with a cdbg camera now it'll be a special contract okay we'll

be getting a contract at this religion goes back to them there'll be a contract time [Music] and you'll have to prove the contract guys sometimes um this is signed moa okay as you know we've got uh a hundred thousand dollar cdbg and some change water project uh from for the tigerville project um and this is a uh uh is this resolution no this is a contract uh authorizing your design documentation for the grant motion to authorize the judge to sign the truth i'll make a motion emotion from joe barnes thank you secretary morpheus any discussion thank you [Music] same thing on the otter project otter uh cbt um and that was i believe seven hundred thousand dollars where's that one in
