and I believe there's no late list so I need a motion on that I'll make a motion motion M Jason second second discussion any discussion on the bills claims payments and [Music] transfer say sign Mo pass see things okay uh sort of under bills and claims but not exactly we are working to do uh more functions and uh we need uh we're going to do a uh uh a dinner appreciation dinner for First Responders next February around Valentine's Day and um that's not the only thing we need them for but we're needing tables and chairs and our proposal is we're going to buy those tables and chairs and

in a trailer that we already had they'll be stored there in a dry trailer and they can be used whever we need them and uh I think it's a great idea 35 chairs 100 uh I mean 35 tables 160 chairs um $ 7,146 10 cents um so um so that's what that's where we're at we want to do it it will let there if there's no objections it'll be on the bills and claims for the next meeting we have po out which which trailer are we going to use is that going to be the stage trailer or no no no no we got to use it for stage right it's one that Emergency Management used to have they kind of get all kinds of stuff out there and we took it from them and put new tires on it and and and it's h it's out back now sitting by the sitting out behind parking lot now so it's going to be designated only for this yeah for chairs and table did one question I had I like I think we probably because there's things that we need chairs but U um the we when

franchise settlement and but we actually do approve that subject no we don't have you need motion yes motion by Larry approve do I have second second second above all in favor say I I post like sign motion pass I'm sorry I didn't ask for uh I didn't ask for U discussion next comes the uh entertainment John gater and David wo is going to come up and sing for us I don't know about that judge David you can come up with him if you want to John uh my name is John G for those of you that don't know me uh I am currently the chairman of the airport board here in Ohio County uh just wanted to come before the Fiscal Court tonight and just give you a little rundown of what we were doing at the airport what we've done over the past couple years I've been on the board for about 3 years now I've been the chairman for about a year and a half um when I came on the board we had some issues that were that

were in the process uh Co kind of slowed some things down for everyone as well as the airport uh over the last several months we've uh been able to accomplish a few things out there so um how many of you have been to the airport in the last 6 months okay how many have come in the hanger and the office in the airport the last six months all right I'm what we're going to do is I'm going to invite you guys out to Fiscal Court I'd like to invite you out there we're going to show you around um like to have a little open house for you at some point in the future we'll coordinate without you with your schedules but we want you to see what's going on out there the airport is growing it's getting busier uh Mr Wooley has been at the the maintenance formulary running the shop run the FBO the fixed base operates at the airport for many years now um the airport's getting a lot busier uh we've received some Grand funding from state and federal grants over the last several years uh one thing I want to talk to you about is an ongoing hanger project that was started here uh and you can refresh me with the 2018 when that first started it's been a long time okay was here then I think when I'm Sorry Miss Haron was the chair was here so that started about

2018 uh there were some issues some with some land surveys some land swaps and things like that during the co situation that slowed things down quite a bit we finally got that taken care of uh we were able to rebid the project the project bids came in way over bid so the state agreed to take wanted to table that for a while the state has since that time come back and looked at it they've agreed to reopen it now they're going to let us rebid the project and the state's going to fully fund that for us uh the airport is going to add in a little bit of the money that we got from some grants last year during Co to match that so we're going to be able to uh build 10 new tea hangers uh the bid are going to go out soon so we'll be doubling the size of our tea Hangers On the airport hopefully we'll be finished sometime the end of 2024 with that project uh we obtained State funding last year we have not had a jet a fuel tank uh for those of you not familiar with Aviation there are two different Two basic kinds of gas there's AV gas 100 low left for like airplanes like small sessions and things like that for helicopters bigger turbo prop airplanes there's jet a we have not had a jet a tank at the airport for several years now uh we did uh uh come up with some State funding they fully funded the project the tank is Set uh we'll
