Let us pray. Our dear heavenly father, Lord, thank you for the many blessings of life and thank for this beautiful day you given us. Lord, we pray for our country and all the leaders, federal leaders, elected officials. Pray for the state leaders. We pray for all our county officials. Lord, we pray that the business that we conduct here will honor you. We we pray for the people in our county that need a special touch from you, either healing or comforting or whatever. So, um, every year, speaking of the best, um, GRAD recognizes a community of the year. Uh, and this is a quite a bit overdue. Uh, it's it's a an award. It's a regional award for all seven counties that

recognizes outstanding achievement, exemplary, um, a project that just stands out from the rest. In 2020, Ohio County won that award. And if you recall, as we all do, uh that was in the height of COVID. We didn't have our annual celebration. We didn't have our dinner. You all did get a traveling trophy that you only kept for a year and then it moved on. Um you might have recalled we did billboards recognizing. I don't know if you all remember that, but I wanted to give you your trophy tonight. It's five years overdue, but um it was for your Ohio County park improvement. This shows the legacy of the park. Um, how you all have developed that into a premier park within the region and all of the wonderful things you've done. with KCO and we're one of uh of 11 15 116 counties that do work out with it. There's just a very very few that does not go through KO for the insurance. And uh our county has a history. Many many years ago, we were we went out for one year and it was a very bad trip. If you look to the left, far left, you'll see a number 4743. That are the that is the number of employees that take each plan. If you look at and then go on down to the family plans too, um are the enhanced plan, employee plus family. You'll look and there's the numbers for that, too. Uh, and the the rates that's going to cost us is to the far right. If you look in the far right column, but I think our choices is to do this or not have insurance and that would be terrible. I'll make a motion that we go with plan

Um, on the basic plan we had a 5.9% increase and on the enhanced plan it it went up 11.9%. I do feel like that we can still leave the employee participation the same for another year. We have n currently we have 19 employees that take the waiver and that lets us gain a little money. Um so I think we're going to be good for another year if that's what you all choose to leave the rates for the employee the same and we will still have that free plan that we will offer.
